Australian Experience:

• Points can be obtained for working in Australia in an occupation listed on the SOL on a full-time basis.
• Additional points can be claimed for possessing one, three, five, or eight years of Australian experience in the nominated occupation within the last decade.

Overseas Qualification Points (Qualifications obtained outside Australia): Points are available for recognized qualifications at the bachelor's level or higher, including Ph.D.

Australian Study: Extra points can be secured for completing a course in Australia that spans at least two academic years or more.

Reside and Study in a Regional Area: Additional points can be claimed if you meet the Australian study requirement, which involves living and studying in a 'regional low population growth metropolitan area' for a minimum of two years.

Partner Skills: Points can be attributed under partner skills if your partner fulfils the basic criteria related to age, English language proficiency, qualifications, and skills assessment results.
