Latest SkillSelect Invitation Round of Australia 2021

Department of Home Affairs Australia (DHA) releases the Latest SkillSelect Invitation Round of Australia 2021, usually on the 11th Day of every month. Through these monthly invitation rounds, Australia’s Government Issue the invitation to apply (ITA) for a Skilled Visa in Australia. The invites are issued to the candidates under two main visa categories under General Skilled Migration, i.e. Subclass 189 and Subclass 491 visa. Both are point-tested visas.

• Skilled Independent visa (subclass 189)

This is a non-sponsored Skilled Permanent Visa in Australia. It means you do not require any sponsorship or job offer from Australia to apply for this particular visa. This point tested visa allows you and your spouse to live and work and study in Australia permanently.

• Skilled Work Regional (provisional) visa (subclass 491)

This is a new Regional (provisional or temporary) visa allocated by the DHA for 5 years. You can also convert it into a PR visa later on. To apply for this visa, you need to nominate from a regional territory or sponsorship from Australia’s regional part.

In this program year (i.e. 2020-21, Australia has invited candidates through monthly invitation rounds, i.e. between July and October 2020.
