Eligibility Requirements for Saskatchewan PNP

Saskatchewan PNP has two main sub-categories, which are most popular among overseas skilled workers. Here are the two main sub-categories:

Occupation in Demand Sub-category

This sub-category is for the skilled workers with an employment offer in highly skilled in an in-demand occupation in the Saskatchewan province. The applicant must fulfil the criteria of this crucial stream.

Eligibility Requirements of Occupation in Demand Sub-category

An applicant of this stream, need to pay a non-refundable application fee online through Visa or MasterCard. It is the final step to apply. As per some essential eligibility requirements an applicant

  • Must obtain at least 60 points out of 100 on the SINP point assessment grid;
  • English/French language ability of at least Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 4
  • Need to have completed post-secondary education, training, or apprenticeship comparable to the Canadian education system of at least one year in length. You must have earned a diploma, certificate or degree with this.
  • For degrees and diplomas obtained outside of Canada, you must have an educational credential assessment (ECA) from a designated organization, as per IRCC’s list of approved organizations.
  • Need to have minimum one-year work experience in the past ten years:
  • In your field of education or training occupation, and
  • In a high skilled occupation in the National Occupational Classification (NOC) Matrix level “A”, “B” or “0” included on the SINP In-Demand Occupation List.
  • Require showing a proof of Professional Status or Licensure (for regulated occupations or those with professional certification standards in Canada and/or Saskatchewan) if required for your occupation. Please see the SINP In-Demand Occupation List for these requirements. If this proof is required, your application will be held for processing until you provide the same. Applicant must include all other required documents in the application to avoid the return of application as incomplete. You will not get a refund of application fee in this case.
  • Require having proof of settlement funds and a settlement plan.

International Skilled Worker: Saskatchewan Express Entry

ISW- Express Entry sub-category of SINP is for the skilled workers willing to live and work in Saskatchewan and registered in the express entry pool of IRCC. Moreover, applicants must meet the criteria of this stream.

The eligibility requirement to apply in SINP- Express entry sub-category

An applicant of this stream must pay a non-refundable application fee online by Visa through MasterCard. It is the final step to apply. As per some essential eligibility requirements an applicant, you,

  • You have registered profile into Express Entry Pool, with proper Express Entry profile Number and Job Seeker Validation Code.
  • Must obtain at least 60 points out of 100 on the SINP point assessment grid.
  • Approved language test result with the required level of proficiency (i.e. CLB 7 in the Express Entry)
  • Need to have completed post-secondary education, training, or apprenticeship comparable to the Canadian education system of at least one year in length. You must have earned a diploma, certificate or degree.
  • Provide Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) for degrees diplomas obtained outside Canada
  • Need to have a minimum one of the following in your field of education or training occupation:
  • One year of work experience in the past ten years in a skilled profession (non-trades);
  • Two years’ work experience in a skilled trade in the past five years; or
  • Twelve months of work experience in Canada in the past three years (trades and non-trades)
  • Require having work experience in a high skilled occupation in the National Occupational Classification (NOC) Matrix level “A”, “B” or “0” listed on the SINP In-Demand Occupation List.
  • Demonstrate the valid proof of Professional Status or Licensure (for regulated occupations or those with professional certification standards in Canada and/or Saskatchewan) if required for your occupation. Please see the SINP In-Demand Occupation List for these requirements. If the proof is required, your application will be held for processing until you provide such proof. You must include all other required documents in your application, or SINP shall return your application as incomplete. You will not get the fee refund in this case.
  • Show the evidence of settlement funds and a settlement plan.
