Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP) invites the applicants to apply for provincial nomination under different streams, i.e. International Graduate Entrepreneur Stream, Skilled Worker Stream, Nova Scotia Experience- Express Entry stream, etc.

Nova Scotia Demand: Express Entry- Category B- (Closed Permanently)

The Nova Scotia Demand: Express Entry stream aims to invite applicants who have skills to get employed in the local labour market and permanently live in Nova Scotia.

Category B: The Category B of Nova Scotia Demand Express Entry Stream is for applicants with experience in an opportunity occupation. However, this category opens and closes throughout the year depending on the status. Below is the list of opportunity occupations in the province of Nova Scotia:

To apply under Category B, you need to

• Create a profile in the online Express Entry System of the federal government.
• Have a minimum of 67 points in the Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) Stream, based on age, education, experience, language skills, etc. criteria
• Have a minimum one year of skilled work experience in one of the target occupations of Nova Scotia province
• Have Canadian high school credential or comparable to the same
• Produce evidence of language proficiency in English or French language with minimum Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 7 score
• Demonstrate proof of sufficient financial resources to integrate into the province of Nova Scotia successfully.
