Canberra Issues ITAs for nomination in latest ACT invitation round

Canberra invited 86 candidates on June 1, 2022 in the latest ACT (Australian Capital Territory) invitation round. As usual, the ACT has issued these invitations to apply for the nomination of Skilled Nominated Visa Subclass 190 and Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) Visa Subclass 491. It is the first ACT round this month. Find out more.

Find below the details of the latest ACT invitation round:

• Small Business Owners: The Small Business Owners received just two invitations this time around for the nomination of Subclass 491 visa with a minimum matrix score of 85 points.
• 457 / 482 visa holders- No invitation issued under this category in the latest ACT Round.
• Critical Skill Occupations – Critical Skills Occupations received most, i.e. 49 ITAs (Invitations to Apply) for the nomination of Subclass 190 and Subclass 491 visa.

• Overseas Applicants (Critical Skill Occupations) – In this latest ACT invitation round, overseas applicants received 35 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for the nomination of Subclass 491 Visa.

Overall, ACT (Australian Capital Territory) invited total 86 candidates in this latest Canberra matrix Invitation round.

Allocation of ACT Nomination Places - 2021-22

• Skilled Work Regional (subclass 491) visa: 1400 places
• Skilled Nominated (subclass 190) visa: 600 places

Total approvals:  1885 nomination places

• 491 Nominations: 575 approvals
• 190 Nominations: 1310 approvals
