Alberta invites 150 candidates with CRS score 372 in latest AAIP draw

In the fifth immigration draw of Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP)- Express Entry stream, Alberta, Canada has issued 150 Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to apply for provincial nomination. In this particular AAIP draw, Alberta has targeted candidates with family connection, and primary occupation in demand with a CRS score 300-500.

The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of lowest ranked candidate who received a Notification of Interest letter was 372 points this time around. Find out more.

The province has released the details of its latest Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP)- Express Entry stream draw held on 30 March 2023. Total 150 candidates received invitation in this invitation round with a CRS score 372 points or above.

Now, after this latest Draw, now Alberta has issued total 584 Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to apply for provincial nomination this year in overall five AAIP draws.

AAIP- Express Entry stream

Alberta PNP offers the Express Entry Stream that allows the province of Alberta to nominate applicants, who fulfil the eligibility criteria for Canadian Permanent Residency (PR) Visa through the federal Express Entry system.

To be eligible for the AAIP- Express Entry Stream, you must:

1. Be accepted into the Express Entry pool and have an EE profile.
2. Have the experience in an occupation that supports province’s economic growth and divergence priorities.  
3. Have a minimum CRS score of 300 in the in the Express Entry pool.
4. Language proficiency in either English or French, as shown by an approved language test, i.e. IELTS.
5. Completed minimum 1 year of post-secondary education or training equivalent to the Canadian education system.

If you fulfil the above eligibility parameters, you can apply for the AINP Express Entry Stream by submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI). If you are invited to apply, you will get a NOI from the AINP and will have 30 calendar days to submit a complete application for nomination.
