Alberta invites 163 candidates in new Alberta PNP draws held on 5 and 10 October

Alberta, Canada held immigration draws for AAIP- Express Entry stream on 5 and 10 October 2023 respectively, issuing total 163 Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to apply for provincial nomination. This was the third draw of Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) this month as previous draw occurred on 3rd October.

New AAIP- Express Entry stream draws

Alberta opened this latest draws of AAIP on 5 and 10 October 2023. Below was the criteria for these draws :

• 10 October – The Alberta PNP draw held for dedicated Healthcare Pathway with Alberta job offer, CRS score 300 and above. Total 13 NOIs issued with a CRS score requirement of 327 points.
• 05 October – The Alberta PNP draw held for family connection and primary occupation in demand, CRS score 300-500, CRS score 300-500. Total 150 NOIs issued with a CRS score requirement of 323 points.

Now after this latest invitation round, in October 2023, Alberta has invited total 196 Express Entry candidates to apply for the provincial nomination under AAIP- Express Entry stream. 

AAIP- Express Entry stream

The key Canadian PNP, i.e. Alberta PNP offers the Express Entry linked stream, which allows skilled workers to gain a nomination from Alberta, improving their chances of obtaining Canadian permanent residence. To qualify, candidates must already have a profile in the federal Express Entry system and meet Alberta's specific eligibility criteria. This particular PNP stream is a valuable Canada PR pathway for individuals with relatively low CRS score.
