Alberta PNP Draws on 1 August & 18 July- AAIP issued 57 Notifications of Interest

Alberta, Canada released the details of the most recent draws of Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP)- Express Entry stream held on 1 August and 18 July 2023. In these three draws, the province of Alberta issued total 57 Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to apply for provincial nomination. Find out more about new invitation rounds of the AAIP.

New AAIP- Express Entry stream draws

Alberta held three separate draws on 1 August and 18 July. The criteria for each draw was different, i.e.

• 1 August – AAIP draw held for Priority sector - Agriculture occupation with Alberta job offer, CRS score 300-500. Total 32 NOIs issued with a CRS score requirement of 322 points. 

• 1 August- Alberta PNP draw held for dedicated Healthcare Pathway, Alberta job offer, CRS score 300 and above. Total 11 NOIs issued with a CRS score requirement of 317 points. 

• 18 July- Alberta draw held for Dedicated Healthcare Pathway, Alberta job offer, CRS score 300 and above. Total 14 NOIs issued with a CRS score requirement of 311 points.

Alberta PNP Express Entry stream

Alberta PNP- Express Entry Stream is a pathway that permits the province of Alberta in Canada to nominate candidates from the federal Express Entry pool for Canadian PR visa. It is one of the key streams under the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP).

This particular AAIP stream works in conjunction with the federal Express Entry system. To be eligible for this stream, applicants require having an active profile in the federal EE pool and meet the other criteria of the stream. They applicants also need to have skills, education, work experience, and other factors that would contribute to Alberta's economic development.
