Alberta Reduces CRS score to record Low, i.e. 300 in latest AAIP Draw- Invites 57 candidates

In a major boost for immigration hopefuls, Alberta's Provincial Nominee Program, the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP), conducted its latest Express Entry draw on July 30, 2024. The province issued 57 Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to potential immigrants.

Remarkably, the minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score required to secure an NOI plunged to a record low of 300. This signifies a significant opportunity for skilled workers with a CRS score of 300 or above to be invited to apply for a provincial nomination, a crucial step towards permanent residency in Canada. The draw highlights Alberta's ongoing efforts to attract skilled talent to contribute to its growing economy.

New AAIP- Express Entry stream draw

The draw specifically targeted healthcare professionals with valid job offers in Alberta. Candidates in this category required a CRS score of 300 or higher to be eligible. By focusing on the healthcare sector, the AAIP continues to address the province's critical workforce shortage in this area.
