All fully vaccinated people can travel to Canada from 7 September-Indians can also travel with a condition

The Canadian government is reopening its orders for all fully vaccinated international travellers with effect from 7 September 2021. The Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has been gradually easing the travel restrictions (imposed earlier in view of Covid-19) and this one is the measure step in this operation. Canada is notably leading immigration destination for worldwide immigration aspirants.

Canada reopening its borders for all

Earlier the government of Canada was allowing only Canadian permanent residents, citizens and essential travels. However, from today, the foreign nationals will be allowed to enter Canada for non-essential purposes, like tourism as well. As per the IRCC, the foreign travellers fulfilling the entry conditions will not have to quarantine for 14 days upon arrival.

How about travel from India to Canada

As of now, the Government of Canada has suspended direct flights from India until September 21, 2021.

However, from 7 September 2021, the fully vaccinated travellers from India can also fly to Canada, provided they make a stopover in a third country  to undergo an RT-PCR test.

As per the IRCC, the passengers who travel to Canada from India via an indirect route require obtaining a pre-departure negative COVID-19 molecular test result from a third country before continuing their journey to Canada.
