August 2020 Skillselect Invitation Round - Australia Invites 200 Candidates

Australia has opened the latest SkillSelect Invitation round right on time, i.e. on August 11, 2020, as it usually opens the round on 11th day of the month. However, it released the details of the same now. The Department of Home Affairs, Australia has issued 200 invitations to the key GSM visa candidates in the latest invitation round. In the invitation round took place on 11th August, the Department of Home Affairs, Australia invited 200 candidates to apply for the General Skilled Migration Program (GSM) visas, i.e.

• Skilled Independent Visa Subclass 189 and
• Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) Visa Subclass 491

Out of the total invitations, 190 invites issued to Subclass 189 visa candidates with a minimum points requirement of 90 points, while 90 invites issued to Subclass 491 visa candidates, with a minimum points requirement of 75 points.

Now the government of Australia has issued total 800 invitations through two invitations rounds (i.e. July and August 2020) held in this program year.
