This was the first Canberra Matrix invitation round for the 2024-2025 program year. Successful applicants can apply for either the Skilled Nominated Visa (Subclass 190) or the Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) Visa (Subclass 491).

- Small Business Owners: Canberra has issued just 3 ITAs under this category for both Subclass 190 and 491 visa to candidates with minimum matrix score of 1 and 2 respectively.
- 457 / 482 visa holders- Total 8 invitations issued under this category for both (190 & 491) visa subclasses.
- Critical Skill Occupations– Under this category, Canberra has issued the most, i.e. 172 ACT nomination invitations to the candidates registered for both 190 and 491 visa.
