Latest SkillSelect Invitation Round - Australia invites 1,500 candidates

The Department of Home Affairs, Australia has released the details of most recent SkillSelect Invitation Round held on April 21, 2022. In this round, DHA has invited 1,500 candidates to apply for Skilled Independent Visa Subclass 189 and Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) Visa Subclass 491- Family sponsored. Find out more.

April 2022 Invitation round

In this program year, the DHA is conducting invitations rounds on quarterly basis instead of monthly basis. The latest quarterly round of this program year held on 21 April 2022. In this round the Department of Home Affairs, Australia issued 1,000 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for Subclass 189 visa with a minimum points requirement of 85 points.

The candidates of Subclass 491- Family sponsored visa also received 500 invitations with a minimum point’s requirement of 65 points.

SkillSelect Invitation Round on 21-04-2022

After this latest round, now the DHA has issued total 3,050 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) this program year. Subclass 189 visa candidates received 1,650 ITAs, while Subclass 491 visa received 1,400 invitations.

Invitation Rounds in Program Year 2021-2022

The SkillSelect Invitation rounds for Skilled Independent visa (subclass 189) and Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 491) – Family Sponsored visas, are expected to be run quarterly. However, the dates for these rounds are subject to change.
