Canada PNPs in 2024

Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) are increasingly becoming a key pathway to Canadian permanent residency. These programs, managed by individual provinces and territories, target skilled workers, entrepreneurs, and international graduates who align with their specific labour market needs.

Many PNP streams directly connect with the Express Entry system, awarding additional points to qualifying candidates and boosting their chances of receiving an invitation to apply for permanent residence. With frequent draws and invitations being issued, PNP programs, i.e. OINP, SINP, MPNP, AAIP, etc. offer a faster and more targeted route to Canadian PR compared to the traditional Express Entry pool.
