Canada Express Entry Invites 9,275 Candidates in April 2024

In a significant development for immigration aspirants, Canada invited a total of 9,275 candidates through its Express Entry system in April 2024. The Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) conducted four Express Entry draws throughout the month. These included two category-based draws and two general draws, demonstrating the country's continued commitment to attracting skilled workers.

Upcoming Draw Predictions: Positive Outlook for Category-Based Draws

Looking ahead, the trend suggests that CRS scores in category-based draws are likely to remain relatively low. This is encouraging news for prospective immigrants aiming to move to Canada through the Express Entry system. Applicants are advised to stay optimistic about their chances, especially in category-based draws, where the focus is on meeting specific labour market needs.

The lower CRS thresholds in these draws reflect Canada's strategic approach to addressing labour shortages and attracting talent that can contribute to the economy effectively. As such, candidates with relevant skills and experience should feel hopeful about their prospects in upcoming category-based draws.
