In a significant move to boost French-speaking immigration, Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has issued invitations to 800 Francophone candidates in the second Express Entry draw of December held on 3 December 2024

This special draw, focused on French language proficiency, saw a notable relaxation in the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score requirement, making it easier for Francophone candidates to secure permanent residency in Canada. This is the second Express Entry draw of the month, with the first one targeting Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) candidates.
