Immigration is vital for Canada

Immigrants play a vital role in the labour market and in advancing Canada’s economy, both in the present and for the anticipatable future. They contribute significantly to ensuring that Canada possesses the essential skills to achieve essential objectives, i.e. supporting sustainability initiatives for a transition to a green (net-zero) and digital economy.

Moreover, immigrants are instrumental in bridging labour force gaps within critical sectors like health, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), trades, transportation, and agriculture. Their contributions are pivotal to the success and expansion of Canadian businesses in these sectors.

About the Family Class, having family support is of utmost significance for the well-being and social integration of newcomers. Besides, it brings economic benefits as well. Spouses and partners often enter the workforce, enhancing household income, while parents and grandparents frequently provide childcare, enabling their sponsors to join or remain in the workforce.
