Navigating Inadmissibility in Canada
The eligibility requirement for entering Canada mandate that foreign nationals must meet specific conditions, including effectively clearing a criminal background check. Both the Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and the Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) play key roles in safeguarding the country's borders, stopping the entry of people who may pose a threat or engage in criminal activities during their stay.
For foreign nationals with a history of arrests or criminal convictions, probable criminal inadmissibility to Canada looms. Nevertheless, there are three primary avenues to overcome this hurdle:
A Temporary Resident Permit offers interim access to Canada for a definite duration. This permit is valid when a traveller has a valid reason for entering Canada, and the advantages of their entry outweigh any possible risks to Canadian society.
