Canada Invites 3,750 Candidates with Healthcare Occupations in Latest Express Entry draw on 5th July

Canada's immigration department, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), is continuing its focus on attracting skilled workers in in-demand fields. On July 5th, 2024, they conducted yet another category-based Express Entry draw specifically targeting healthcare occupations. It was third EE draw this week. This draw invited 3,750 candidates to apply for permanent residence (PR) in Canada. Find out more.

Lower CRS Requirement: A Boon for Healthcare Workers

The CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score requirement for the healthcare draw was only 445 points, significantly lower compared to regular Express Entry draws. This lower cut-off reflects the targeted nature of the draw and is a positive sign for healthcare professionals seeking Canadian PR.

  • Work experience in one of the below fields:

    • trades, such as carpenters, plumbers and contractors
    • transport
    • agriculture and Agri-food
