Canada invites 4,750 Candidates in latest Express Entry Draw opened on 6 Dec 2023

On December 6, 2023, the Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has conducted latest all-program Express Entry draw to issue 4,750 ITAs (Invitations to Apply) for Canadian Permanent Residency (PR) Visa. The IRCC has opened this draw after more than a month as the previous EE draw occurred on 26 October 2023. Find out more details about this new draw of EE system.

In this latest EE draw, the IRCC has invited 4,750 candidates with CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score 561 points or above. In this draw the IRCC has invited candidates registered under all categories of federal Express Entry System, i.e.

• Federal Skilled Worker (FSW)
• Federal Skilled Trades (FST)
• Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
• Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)

EE Draw Analysis

After this new immigration draw of federal Express Entry System, Canada has now issued a total of 99,971 Invitations this year in overall 36 Express Entry draws.

Considering this latest EE draw has opened after more than a month, the CUT OFF was bound to increase as new candidates register regularly in the system, which in turn raise the CRS score requirement. This year, Canada has now issued almost 1 lac candidates, which is an incredible number.  

High time to Prepare your Canada PR application for 2024

Only 3 more weeks left in the year 2023, and in the new year, the number of invitations are going to be higher as Canada plans to invite 485,000 new permanent residents next year, and significant number of these newcomers will get admission through Express Entry System (i.e. 110,770) only.

So, if you have not registered your profile in the system, prepare your document now and submit the profile. The chances of getting Canada PR invitation will sure be higher in 2024 with the advent of category-based draws, which invite the candidates with low CRS score. The Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) will also invite a significant number of new immigrants (i.e. 1,10,000) in 2024.
