Canada Invites 763 PNP Candidates in Latest Express Entry Draw

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) conducted another Express Entry draw on August 13, 2024, inviting 763 Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) candidates to apply for permanent residency. The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score required for this draw was 690, a bit higher than previous PNP-only draws. However, with the category-based draws in pipeline, it is likely to reduce in upcoming draws.

Express Entry draw for CEC candidates – 13 August

This draw follows a record-breaking July 2024, where IRCC issued a total of 25,125 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) across nine Express Entry draws. While the August draws have started with a PNP-only draw and a relatively high CRS score, it will be interesting to see how the rest of the month unfolds in terms of draw frequency, number of ITAs issued, and CRS cut-offs.
