The Canadian government has issued some important instructions and guidelines for international students arriving in Canada. These guidelines have been issued mainly in wake of the Global pandemic. In these latest guidelines, the government summaries the roles and responsibilities of DLIs, provinces and territories and the government of Canada in supporting the foreign students.
Despite the various obstacles in 2020, the federal as well as provincial governments of Canada has invited significant number of immigration candidates under the different immigration programs or visa categories. The popular Express Entry system of Canada, alone has invited massive 87,350 candidates until the 5th November draw. The Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) of Canada too held the regular draws this year and issued invitations to apply (ITAs) for provincial nomination to the selected candidates.
Guidelines for International Students
The guide for international students has been divided in to five different sections. Find below the overview of the each section for better understanding of the same.

Section 1 -of the guide offers valuable details and information on the COVID-19 pandemic, and summaries the roles and responsibilities of Designated Learning Institutions (DLIs), Provinces and Territories (PTs), and Canadian government regarding the safe entrance and stay of international students in the maple leaf country.
Section-2- tells, what exactly Covid-19 is and informs about its symptoms, diseases it may cause, diagnosis, precautions, etc. details.
Section-3 -throws lights on what international students need to know before leaving their respective countries. It further tells that any international student and accompanying immediate family members must not board the flight in case there are symptoms indicating COVID-19. Upon arrival, as well Quarantine or screening officer will do the health assessment. In addition, the International students advised to confirm whether their institutions are on the approved list (Based on Quarantine Act, and Emergency Orders) before travelling to Canada.
