Canada Launches Application tracker for it’s popular Express Entry & PNP Programs

As part of it’s drive to make the Canada immigration process and system modernized and up to date, the Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has launched a new application tracker for its key programs, i.e. federal Express Entry System and Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).

Both EE system and PNP being the popular immigration programs of Canada, the new tracker will benefit thousands of applicants register for these programs every year. This new tracker helps you check the status of certain immigration and citizenship applications. Find out more.

Application tracker for Express Entry & PNP Program

The Canadian immigration minister Sean Fraser at various junctures has revealed government’s intent to modernize and streamline Canada’s immigration system and process. This new application tracker is part of this movement only.

Who can check status on new application tracker?

Presently, the new application tracker only supports applications for the following programs:

• Candidates sponsoring a spouse, partner, or dependent child or being sponsored as one
• Workers immigrating via one of the Express Entry programs, i.e.

• • Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
  • Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)
  • Federal Skilled Workers Program (FSWP)
  • Federal Skilled Trades Program (FST)

The IRCC is presently working on expanding the tracker to extra categories of applications. You can create a new account if

• It’s your first time checking the status of your application, or
• you've only used the Client Application Status tool to check your application status

When can you check your application status?

The applicants won’t be able to check their application status right away. An applicant can only check application status after IRCC begin processing his/her application. Status of the updates will only become visible after an applicant receive an AOR (Acknowledgement of Receipt) letter or email.
