Canada opens 3rd Express Entry draw of the month- Invites French-Speaking Candidates

The IRCC (Immigration Refugees, and Citizenship Canada) held third Express Entry draw of this month on 25 October 2023. This was a category-based Express Entry draw opened specifically for the candidates with French Language proficiency. This was also the fifth Express Entry draw this year conducted only for Francophone (French-speaking) candidates. Find out more.

In this latest category-based Express Entry invitation round, the IRCC issued total 300 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for Canadian PR (Permanent Resident) Visa to the French-speaking candidates with Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score 486 points or higher.

EE Draw Analysis

After this new EE invitation round, Canada has now issued a total of 91,621 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for Canadian PR in the 34 Express Entry draws occurred thus far this year.

Express Entry draws in October 2023

Now, the IRCC has invited total 5,573 candidates this month only to apply for Canadian PR Visa under three different category of EE Draws. The first draw this month was an all-program Express Entry draw, while next two draws were program-specific (i.e. PNP only) and Category-based (French language proficiency -2023-1) draw.

The CUT OFF in this particular invitation round significantly to just 486 points, which suggest, that if you are proficient enough in French language, your chances of getting PR (Permanent Residence) Visa in Canada increase considerably.
