Canada opens 5th Express Entry draw of July Month- Invites 800 candidates

The IRCC has conducted 5th Express Entry draw of this month on July 11, 2023. This was an all-program Express Entry draw that invited all category applicants.

In this particular draw, the IRCC has issued 800 ITAs (Invitations to Apply) for Canadian Permanent Residency (PR) Visa with a CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score requirement of 501 points.

This is second all-program Express entry draw opened by Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) in just one week. Now, with this latest draw, the IRCC has issued total 65,348 Invitations this year in overall 21 EE draws opened this year until date.

Category-based draws

Now, Canada is also conducting category based draws. The IRCC has opened four category-based draws this year. Here are 6 new categories for category-based Express Entry draws to conducted in 2023:

• Healthcare
• Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) professions
• Trades, such as carpenters, plumbers, and contractors
• Transport
• Agriculture and agri-food
• Strong French-language proficiency
