Canadian Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) provide a crucial pathway for immigration to Canada on Permanent Residence (PR) Visa. Most PNPs of Canada hold regular draws to invite the suitable candidates regularly and subsequently, nominate them for permanent residency.

SINP Draw on August 19, 2021
Saskatchewan conducted latest EOI based draw of Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) on August 19, 2021 to issue 496 ITAs (Invitations to Apply) for provincial nomination. The Saskatchewan PNP invited the candidates registered under ISW (International Skilled Worker) - Express Entry subcategory (minimum score 70 points)and Occupation in Demand subcategory (minimum score 70 points).
Ontario PNP Draw for Masters and PhD Graduate Stream
Ontario issued Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to apply for provincial nomination to the candidates, who may be eligible for the Masters Graduate and PhD Graduate streams of Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP).
In this new OINP draw, Ontario invited total402 candidates under master’s graduate stream with a point score range of 39 and above. Moreover, under the PhD Graduate stream, the PNP invited 77 candidates only this time around.
Express Entry opened draw for PNP candidates
The Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) opened the Express Entry draw for the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) candidates on August 18, 2021. In this EE Draw, the IRCC issued 463 ITAs (Invitations to Apply) for Canadian Permanent Resident (PR) Visa to the candidates having the provincial nomination. The CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score requirement in this Express Entry draw was 751 CRS points.
BC PNP draws opened on 17th August
British Columbia, Canada opened two draws for British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) on August 17, 2021 to issue 427 ITAs (Invitations to Apply) for provincial nomination.
The BC continue to follow the trend this year, as it conducted two BC PNP draws on the same date, i.e. one for regular BC PNP categories and one draw the province held for the key occupations, i.e. NOC 0621 and 0631.
Alberta PNP invited 396 candidates with CRS score of 300 points
On 10th August AINP- Express Entry aligned stream held the biggest draw of 2021. In this draw, Alberta issued 396 Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to apply for provincial nomination to the Express Entry candidates. The CRS score requirement was also relatively low i.e. just 300 CRS points. Alberta PNP issued the NOIs to the candidates with CRS score 300 points or above in this particular draw.
Manitoba PNP draw on 12th August
The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) held its latest draw on August 12, 2021 to issue 275 Letters of Advice (LAAs) to apply for provincial nomination. Following the MPNP draw trend in last few months, the Manitoba PNP issued invitations to the candidates registered under Skilled Worker (Overseas and Manitoba) and International Education streams.
