Canadian PNPs invited 4,803 immigration candidates in 2nd Week of Jan 2024

In the second week of January 2024, a total of 4,803 candidates received invitations to apply for the provincial nomination from the Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) of Canada to apply for the Canadian Permanent Residency (PR) Visa. This week witnessed draws conducted by Ontario, British Columbia, and Manitoba as part of their respective Provincial Nominee Programs.

Now, let's delve into the outcomes of the PNP draws that took place between January 9 and January 16, 2024.

New Manitoba PNP draw opened - 11 January 2024

Manitoba initiated the first draw of the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) for the year 2024 on January 11. During this specific draw, Manitoba, Canada, granted 423 Letters of Advice (LAAs) to candidates eligible for provincial nomination under essential MPNP streams, including the Skilled Worker streams, Close Relatives in Manitoba selection, and International Education stream.

Ontario PNP Draw for Express Entry- Skilled Trades Stream - 11 Jan 2024

On January 11, 2024, Ontario conducted the most recent focused draw for Ontario's Express Entry - Skilled Trades Stream. In this specific draw of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP), a substantial 2,552 Notifications of Interest (NOIs) were issued by Ontario for individuals eligible to apply for provincial nomination.

Latest draw of British Columbia PNP - 10 January 2024

On January 10, 2024, the prominent Canadian province of British Columbia organized General and Targeted Draws within its Provincial Nominee Program, known as the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP). In both categories of draws, British Columbia granted approximately 377 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for provincial nomination.

Ontario PNP Draws for EJO-Foreign Worker Stream on 9 Jan 2024

During the initial draws of the New Year conducted on January 9, 2024, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) issued 1,451 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for provincial nomination under the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream. These draws were specifically targeted to invite candidates with expertise in Skilled Trades, Health, and Tech Occupations.

Canadian PNPs will be key Canada immigration pathway in 2024

In 2024, Canada aims to extend a significant number of invitations to immigration  aspirants through its Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs), setting a target to issue 110,000 invitations across the diverse PNPs. This measure reflects the country's commitment to welcoming skilled individuals through provincial nominations, contributing to its economic growth and regional development.

As the demand for skilled workers continues, the PNPs going to be a key pathway to obtain Permanent Resident (PR) Visa in Canada this year.
