CRS Score Drops Significantly in Latest Express Entry Draw for CEC

The Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has significantly reduced the CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score requirement in the latest draw of federal Express Entry System.

In the latest program-specific EE draw opened on July 22, 2021, the IRCC has issued 4,500 ITAs (Invitations to Apply) for Canadian PR visa to Canadian Experience Class (CEC) candidates.

The IRCC is following the practice of opening two draws back to back in last few months. This time around also it has opened two draws in two daysfor PNP and CEC. Find out more details.

The IRCC has invited 4,500 candidates in this latest draw for CEC with a CRS score requirement of357 points. The cut off is dropped significantly in this particular draw, as in last CEC draw it was 369 points.

With this new draw on 22nd July, now the IRCC has invited total 98, 804 ITAs (Invitations to Apply) for Canadian Permanent Residency (PR) visa this year in 28 program-specific Express Entry draws. Now, the IRCC is on the verge of meeting its annual immigration target for 2021, i.e. 108,500. In fact, it may exceed this target as it did last year, and issue additional ITAs for Canada PR this year.
