The IRCC opened another record-breaking Express Entry draw on April 16, 2021 to issue 6,000 ITAs to eligible CEC (Canadian Experience Class) candidates. This invitation round has been the second largest one in the history of Express Entry and is again a program-specific draw that targeted only CEC candidates.

With this latest Express Entry draw held by Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), the total number of ITAs issued so far in 2021 has reached up to 55,390, which is nearly double the number of ITAs issued in 2020 during this time of the year.
