Canada's Express Entry system has experienced a notable uptick in activity this year. Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has issued invitations to more than 90,835 people to apply for permanent residency through 43 draws conducted thus far. This surge reflects Canada's robust economic expansion and its dedication to drawing skilled talent from across the globe.

Express Entry Draws in Oct 2024

The latest draw is good news for skilled workers in the trade occupations category. These workers play an important role in the Canadian economy, and there is a strong demand for their skills in the country.

The IRCC has been increasing the number of ITAs issued in recent months. This is in line with the Canadian government's goal of increasing immigration to the country.

If you are a skilled worker and you are interested in immigrating to Canada, you should create an Express Entry profile. This will allow you to be entered into the pool of candidates for selection in future draws.

The CRS score is expected to remain low in future category-based Express Entry draws as well.
