Express Entry draw on 27 August- Canada invites 3,300 Candidates under CEC Category

Canada has once again opened its Express Entry draw on August 27, 2024, inviting 3,300 candidates to apply for permanent residence (PR) visas. This draw is exclusively for the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) category, which prioritizes skilled workers with Canadian work experience.

This is the fifth Express Entry draw held in August 2024. The previous draw took place just a day before on August 26, inviting 1,121 Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) candidates. The consistent frequency of draws suggests that Canada is actively working to meet its immigration targets and fill labor shortages.

Positive Impact on Immigration Targets

The series of Express Entry draws this month is expected to have a significant positive impact on Canada's immigration targets. By inviting a substantial number of candidates, the government is taking steps to address labor shortages and boost economic growth.

Encouraging News for Prospective Immigrants

The category-based EE draws with lower CRS score requirements offer encouraging news for prospective immigrants. It indicates that the competition for PR visas is becoming less intense, increasing the chances of success for candidates with lower scores.
