IRCC has modified the CUT OFF for the 14 September Express Entry draw

The IRCC (Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada) has updated the CRS score requirement, i.e. CUT OFF for the latest draw of federal Express Entry System opened on 14 September 2022. On the draw date, the IRCC mentioned the CUT OFF as 511 CRS points on the Express Entry rounds of invitations page of IRCC website.

However, now IRCC has changed the CRS score requirement to 510 points.

Since IRCC has updated the CRS Cut Off, this means, now, the candidates with 510 or above have received he ITAs in the all-program Express Entry draw held on 14 September.

Since a few of the applicants were claiming that, they did receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) this time around with CRS score 510 points, hence, the change/modification in the CUT OFF points was on cards.

Although, the CUT OFF is still a bit high for the liking of the FSW (Federal Skilled Worker) applicants registered in the EE system, however, having said the same, it is the lowest this year.

Moreover, the way IRCC is constantly reducing the CRS and raising the number of invitations in each all-program draw since 6 July 2022, the CUT OFF is likely to drop below 500 in next few draws. The immigration department of Canada is also taking measures to reduce processing time, clear backlogs and improve the immigration system too to ensure the smooth arrival of newcomers.
