IRCC Invites 1,002 Candidates in the Latest Express Entry Draw for PNP Candidates

The Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has issued 1,002 ITAs (Invitations to Apply) for PR visa in this latest draw with a CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score requirement of 742 points. The cut off is high as the invited candidates already have 600 additional CRS points obtained based on the provincial nomination received via a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).

After this latest program-specific draw for PNP candidates, now IRCC has issued total 82,715 invitations this year in 23 program-specific Express Entry draws. The invitations issued in 2021 (until date) are almost double compare to invitations issued last year until 23rd June.

Express Entry draw pattern this year

 

The IRCC has preferred opening the program-specific draws this year to give preference to the candidates in Canada in view of the global pandemic caused situation. However, as the things improving for better consistently we may see the all-program draws soon.

 

 

Meanwhile, if you want to get the ITA (Invitation to Apply) via one of the program-specific draws only, you may apply to a relevant Canadian Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) and obtain the provincial nomination for Canadian PR visa.
