IRCC invites 2,000 CEC candidates to apply for Canadian PR visa in latest Express Entry draw

Canadian immigration department, i.e. Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) opened the latest draw of Federal Express Entry System on September 14; 2021. This is the program-specific draw for Canadian Experience Class (CEC), i.e. the first one of this month. The IRCC has issued 2,000 ITAs (Invitations to Apply) for Canadian Permanent Resident (PR) visa in this draw.

In the latest EE draw occurred on14th of this month, the Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued total 2,000 invitations to the CEC candidates. The CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score requirement is just462 points in this draw.

After this latest EE draw, now the IRCC has issued total 1, 08,414 ITAs (Invitations to Apply) this year, in 34 program-specific Express Entry draws conducted until date.

The Federal Express Entry System has almost achieved its Express Entry invitation target for 2021, which was 108,500. It is just 86 invitations away from the 2021 target and will most probably surpass the target for this year in the next EE draw. 

Express Entry overachieving its target again

Last year also the IRCC overachieved the invitation target of the federal EE system. This year also it is on the verge of surpassing the same. This is really an encouraging sign for the applicants that despite the Covid-19 chaos, at no point the Canadian government stopped accepting the PR visa applications.
