IRCC invites 3,500 candidates in latest Express Entry draw- CRS Score Drops yet again

The CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score has dropped again in the latest Express Entry draw opened on 26 April 2023. In this latest all program EE draw as well, the Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has issued 3,500 ITAs (Invitations to Apply) for Canadian Permanent Residency (PR) Visa. In this latest invitation round of EE system, CRS score CUT OFF dropped to 483 points to invite total 3,500 express entry candidates to apply for Canadian Permanent Residency (PR) Visa. Now after this latest draw, the IRCC has now issued total 44,559 ITAs (Invitations to Apply) for Canadian PR visa this year in total 11 EE draws opened until date.

New EE Draw Analysis

The CUT OFF continues to be in 480s for last one month, however, the good news is it has not gone beyond the mark of 486 in last one month. We may soon see the drop in the CRS score considering the fact that on 26 April 2023, there are 21,544 candidates in the EE pool with a CRS score in the range of 471-480. This means the CUT OFF may drop to 470s in next few weeks. If this happens it will greatly benefit the applicants registered in the EE system since long.

Express entry has a target to invite minimum 82,880 express entry candidates in 2023. It means, the IRCC just half way through in terms of issued ITAs until date. This annual target may also increase depending on the number of candidates in the pool.
