Latest Alberta Opportunity stream draw of AAIP Invites 187 Candidates

Alberta PNP- Express Entry stream Draw on 7 November 2024

Alberta conducted the latest draw of Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP)) for the Alberta Opportunity stream on November 7, 2024 to issue total 187 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for the provincial nomination. This was the second AAIP draw this month. Minimum score required by the invited candidates was 50. The AAIP also conducted draw on 4^th November for two different categories, i.e.

• Dedicated Health Care Pathway – non-Express Entry
• Dedicated Health Care Pathway - Express Entry

Parameters for selection in this draw

Applicants registered for Alberta Opportunity Stream, with the following parameters:

• Minimum expression of interest score of 50
• Pathway of interest: Alberta Opportunity Stream, Rural Renewal Stream, or Tourism and Hospitality Stream
• Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) or Niveaux de compétence linguistique canadiens (NCLC) 5 or higher
• Valid work permit
• Work experience of 12 moths or more
• Work permit expiry date of November 15, 2024 or later
• Job offer for full-time employment in Alberta
• Job offer with an Alberta employer in one of the following occupations:
• 72010 - Contractors and supervisors, machining, metal forming, shaping and erecting trades and related occupations
• 72011 - Contractors and supervisors, electrical trades, and telecommunications occupations
• 72012 - Contractors and supervisors, pipefitting trades
• 72013 - Contractors and supervisors, carpentry trades
• 72014 - Contractors and supervisors, other construction trades, installers, repairers, and servicers
• 72020 - Contractors and supervisors, mechanic trades
• 72021 - Contractors and supervisors, heavy equipment operator crews
• 72102 - Sheet metal workers
• 72103 - Boilermakers
• 72104 - Structural metal and platework fabricators and fitters
• 72105 - Ironworkers
• 72106 - Welders and related machine operators
• 72200 - Electricians (except industrial and power system)
• 72201 - Industrial electricians
• 72203 - Electrical power line and cable workers
• 72204 - Telecommunications line and cable installers and repairers

• Pool registrants with Express Entry profiles were not included in this draw
