EE Draw Analysis

Now, after this new Express Entry invitation round,  this year, IRCC has invited total 35,970 candidates to apply for Canadian PR visa in overall 17 EE draws held until date.

As was expected the Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) dropped the CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score requirement for the category-based draw for the Francophone candidates. This has been the feature of the category-based selection in the EE draws first introduced in May 2023. With this pattern now the candidates with low CRS score can also get the ITA (Invitation to Apply) for Canadian PR visa provided they fall under one of the six categories chosen for Category based EE Draws in 2024, i.e.

  • A strong French language proficiency or
  • Work experience in one of the below fields:
    • healthcare
    • science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) professions
    • trades, such as carpenters, plumbers and contractors
    • transport
    • agriculture and Agri-food
