The Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has started the New Year 2022 with another program-specific Express Entry draw. This latest draw of federal Express Entry System took place on January 5, 2022 to issue 392 ITAs (Invitations to Apply) for Canadian Permanent Resident (PR) Visa this time around. The candidates with provincial nomination are eligible to receive invitation in this draw.
Express Entry draw results 5 January
The IRCC has invited 392 Express Entry candidates (having provincial nomination) in this draw with a CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score requirement of 808 points. Invited candidates have the provincial nomination and the 600 CRS points based on the same. This is the reason that Cut Off is high in this draw.

Last year, i.e. in 2021, Express Entry issued total 1,14,431 invitations in overall 42 Express Entry draws held in the year.

Last year, the Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) created history by inviting most number of Express Entry candidates to apply for Canadian PR visa in single year.
