IRCC opens biggest Express Entry draw of the year – invites 3,250 candidates

In the biggest Express Entry draw of year held on 14 September 2022, IRCC (Immigration Refugees, and Citizenship Canada) has issued 3,250 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for Canadian PR (Permanent Resident) Visa.

This is constantly 6th all-program Express Entry draw, wherein IRCC has increased the ITAs while reducing the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score requirement. Find out more details about this latest invitation round.

The IRCC has invited 3,250 candidates under all categories, i.e. FSW, FST, CEC, and PNP, in this latest draw of federal Express Entry System. The CUT OFF has reduced by four points to be 511 CRS points in this latest all-program EE draw.

With this latest draw, now IRCC (Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada) has invited total 24,288 candidates this year in overall 19 Express Entry draws opened in 2022.

It’s the sixth all-program draw in the row, wherein number of ITAs have increased with the drop in the CRS score.

Canada is well on the road to achieve its annual immigration target of 431,645 with more than 300,000 immigrants welcomed already until August 2022.

Moreover, the immigration minister is constantly taking step to ease the immigration system and process for the applicants. Here are the list of step taken recently:

• improve the immigration system to facilitate the entry of new immigrants
• clear the visa application backlog so that more new applicants can get chance
• Improve the processing time of the applications.
