Latest Express Entry draw opened on 16 March 2022

Latest program-specific draw of federal Express Entry System held on March 16, 2022 to invite 924 express entry candidates with provincial nomination to apply for Canadian Permanent Residency (PR) Visa.

All invited candidates in this draw had provincial nomination, which means they already have the 600 additional CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) points in their express entry account. Find out more.

The Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued 924 ITAs (Invitations to Apply) in this latest EE draw with a CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score requirement of 754 CRS points. Now, the IRCC has issued total 5,551 invitations this year to apply for Canadian Permanent Resident (PR) Visa in overall six program specific EE draws opened.

The Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has not held any Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) category EE draw for last few months. Hence, the applicants registered under FSW category are concerned about their ITAs. 

However, the good news is Canadian immigration Minister, has recently confirmed that the government is taking steps to clear backlog of pending Permanent Resident (PR) applications. Moreover, once this backlog is cleared the immigration department will hold the all-program EE draws to invite the Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) candidates as well. Meanwhile, if you wish to get ITA, you can apply to relevant Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) and get the invitation in the PNP draws only.
