IRCC invites 1,047 PNP candidates in the latest Express Entry draw

The IRCC (Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada) has issued invitations to apply for Canadian PR (Permanent Residence) visa to the 1,047 PNP candidates in the latest draw of federal Express Entry System opened on March 2, 2022. This is the first EE draw this month and overall 5th draw opened this year. All invited candidates in this draw need to submit the complete Canada PR application along with the essential documents within 60 days. Find out more. 

Express Entry draw results 2 March 

In this new draw, the IRCC has invited total 1,047 candidates to apply for Canadian PR (Permanent Resident) Visa with a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) sore requirement of 761 points. Now, the Express Entry has issued total 4,627 invitations this year in five Express Entry draws opened for PNP candidates.

As per immigration levels plan of Canada the government will admit record 431,645 new permanent residents in 2022. Out of the total admissions, a huge number of people will get the invitation under the economic immigration programs, i.e. Express Entry, Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), etc. The applicants not getting the Invitation to Apply (ITA) through EE system has the option to apply through alternate Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).
