Manitoba invites 305 candidates in latest MPNP immigration Draw

Manitoba conducted latest immigration draw for Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) on 2 December 2022 to issue 305 Letters of Advice (LAAs) to apply for provincial nomination for Canada PR Visa.

Candidates registered for Skilled Worker Overseas stream received 43 invitations in this latest draw of Manitoba PNP. Find out more.

Manitoba PNP draw on 2 December

In the 2nd December draw, Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream received most, i.e. 205 letters of advice with a minimum score requirement of 775 points.  International Education stream received 56 ITAs (Invitations to Apply).

The Skilled Worker overseas stream candidates received 43 Letters of Advice (LAAs) to apply for provincial nomination with a minimum score requirement of 673 points.

This was first draw of Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) this month. The MPNP held previous draw for Ukrainian candidates only as a Special Immigration Measure.

Latest EOI notice points

1. All individuals interested in applying to the Skilled Workers Stream must create an Expression of Interest (EOI) profile.
2. The MPNP gets an allocation of nominations each year from IRCC. Manitoba PNP invites a corresponding number of applications to be submitted to consume whole nomination allocation through the Expression of Interest (EOI) based draws.
3. For 2022, the MPNP can approve 6,367 applications.
4. Nomination allocation for 2023 not announced yet.
5. Manitoba issues LAAs based on priority by stream and the top ranking points at the time of a given draw.
6. The number of profiles in EOI pool surpasses the annual nomination allocation. Hence, not everyone who creates a profile receive a LAA to the MPNP.
7. Applicants can enhance their points by completing or updating their language test results, completing extra work experience, or via completion of extra education.
8. People interested in moving to Manitoba may also be eligible to apply via a federal immigration program.
