Latest Quebec Immigration Draw Invites 1,417 Candidates for permanent selection

In a move to strengthen its immigration targets, Quebec recently announced the results of its first Arrima draw of the September month. A total of 1,417 candidates received invitations to apply for permanent residency in this selection process.

The Arrima system, Quebec's online immigration platform, is a key component of the province's efforts to attract skilled workers and meet its economic goals. This regular draw ensures a consistent flow of potential immigrants into the province.

Number of ITAs: the Minister of Immigration, Francization and Integration invited 1,417 persons to apply for permanent selection.

Date and time of extraction from the Arrima bank: September 3, 2024 at 6:25 a.m.

These Invitation to Apply (ITAs) were addressed to the persons meeting the below criteria:

  • they had a level 7 oral proficiency (or higher) in French according to the Échelle québécoise des niveaux de compétence en français (Québec scale of French proficiency levels for adult immigrants) or its equivalent;
  • they had a score equal to or greater than 575 points.

These ITAs were also addressed to people fulfilling the below criterion:

  • they had a level 7oral proficiency (or higher) in French as per the Échelle québécoise des niveaux de compétence en français Québec scale of French proficiency levels for adult immigrants) or its equivalent;
  • they had a valid employment offer outside the territory of the Communauté métropolitaine de Montréal.

The candidates who received invitations in this draw were selected based on their profiles in the Arrima pool, which considers factors such as education, work experience, French language proficiency, and other relevant criteria.

This latest draw is a testament to Quebec's ongoing commitment to immigration and its role in contributing to the province's economic growth and cultural diversity.
