The Immigration South Australia (SA) has released an important update regarding the Skilled Nominated (Subclass 190) visa program. As per this update, all visa allocations for the program year 2022-23 have reached the limit. However, the good news for the applicants waiting is that the General Skilled Migration program will continue to accept applications until 8 June 2023.
This means that pending allocation of Subclass 190 nominations, the applicants in the program year 2023-2024, i.e. the applicants who are assessed as eligible for a Subclass 190 nomination will get this nomination in the forthcoming program year. Hence, even if you are unable to secure a nomination in the current program year, there is a chance to get it in the forthcoming program year, which begins in July 2023. This will be as per the allocation of Subclass 190 nominations from the Commonwealth Government. The applicants will get intimation from Skilled and Business Migration in the next few days to provide you with the detailed information on the next steps you need to take.
