The Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has released the latest updates for new Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP). The AIP came into effect on January 1, 2022, replacing the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Programs (AIPP), which closed on December 31, 2021.
The IRCC stopped accepting AIPP applications on March 5, 2022, when the Ministerial Instructions (MIs) of this Pilot program expired. Subsequently, the IRCC began accepting the newly launch and alternate AIP applications on March 6, 2022.
The AIP is a pathway for Canadian PR visa for overseas skilled workers and international graduates from a Canadian institution, willing to work and live in one of the four Atlantic provinces of Canada, i.e.

Who can apply to AIP?
The foreign applicants, who can economically establish in Atlantic Canada, want to reside in a province in the Atlantic region, and fulfil the entire eligibility criteria mentioned below could apply to AIP:
