Manitoba Issues 234 Letters of Advice in Latest MPNP Draw

This round of LAAs was specifically targeted towards candidates applying under the Skilled Workers in Manitoba, International Education, and Skilled Worker Overseas streams. The MPNP did not disclose any specific criteria or cut-offs used to select candidates for this draw.

MPNP draw- 10 October 2024

• Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream received 82 Letters of Advice (LAAs) to apply for provincial nomination with a minimum score of 845
• The International Education stream and Skilled Worker in Overseas stream received 114 letters of advice this time around,
• while Skilled Worker Overseas stream candidates received 38 LAAs provided they have a minimum score of 711 or higher.

Of the 234 LAAs issued in this draw, 36 were offered to candidates who were already part of the Express Entry system and had a valid job seeker validation code.

The LAA is an important step in the MPNP application process. It indicates that the candidate has been pre-selected for further assessment and may be eligible to apply for a provincial nomination. Successful candidates will then need to submit additional documentation and undergo a medical exam before receiving a provincial nomination certificate.
