Manitoba Opened a Draw for Skilled Workers Overseas Streams of MPNP- invited 250 Candidates

On June 25, 2024, key Canadian province Manitoba opened a draw for the Skilled Worker Overseas stream of its PNP, i.e. Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) issuing total 250 Letters of Advice (LAAs) to apply for provincial nomination. This was the third MPNP draw in the month of June 2024, as the previous draws occurred on 6th and 21st June respectively.

Occupation Specific Selection in 25 June MPNP draw

In this particular immigration draw, MPNP invited the eligible Skilled Worker Overseas profiles who declared a nursing occupation as their current occupation.

The below National Occupational Classification (NOC) 2021 occupations were considered in this draw:

•   31301 - Registered nurses and registered psychiatric nurses
•   31302 - Nurse practitioners
•   32101 - Licensed practical nurses
•   33102 - Nurse aides, orderlies and patient service associates

Remarkably, 93 of the 250 LAAs were issued to candidates who possess both a valid Express Entry profile and a job seeker validation code. This suggests likely arrangement between the MPNP and the federal Express Entry system for immigration.
