Manitoba PNP Invites International Graduates & Skilled Workers to Apply for Provincial Nomination

The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) conducted a draw on June 21, 2024, issuing a total of 163 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) to candidates in the International Education Stream and Skilled Worker Overseas Stream. This was second MPNP draw this month. Find out more details about this latest immigration invitation round.

This draw provided an opportunity for international graduates from Manitoba institutions and skilled workers from overseas to gain a path towards Canadian permanent residence.

• International graduates: 111 candidates who met the eligibility requirements for the International Education Stream received LAAs.
• Skilled workers overseas: A total of 52 LAAs were issued to skilled workers overseas who were directly invited by the MPNP under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative. The minimum cut-off score for this category was 721 points.

Interestingly, 31 of the 163 LAAs were issued to candidates who possess both a valid Express Entry profile and a job seeker validation code. This suggests potential alignment between the MPNP and the federal Express Entry system for immigration.
