Manitoba PNP issues Invitations to Skilled Worker Overseas & Internation Education stream

The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) held a draw on February 20, 2025, resulting in the issuance of 41 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs). These LAAs were distributed to eligible candidates within the Skilled Worker Overseas and International Education Streams, inviting them to submit comprehensive applications for provincial nomination. Successful nominees may then apply for Canadian permanent residency.

Key Highlights from the 20 Feb MPNP Draw:

In this latest draw, 41 LAAs issued to candidates registered under below two streams:

• International Education Stream- Master’s Degree or higher level of completed post-secondary education and Close relative in Manitoba selection 
• Skilled Worker Overseas- Profiles that declared being directly invited by the MPNP under a strategic recruitment initiative.

Seven of the 41 invited candidates were selected from the Express Entry pool, based on their valid job seeker validation codes.

Key Points to Remember

Skilled Worker Overseas Stream:

• Strategic Recruitment Only: Invitations are solely based on direct MPNP strategic recruitment.
• EOI Accuracy is Crucial:
  • Missing or invalid language test numbers will disqualify you.
  • Missing or invalid strategic recruitment invitation numbers will disqualify you.
  • Use EOI help text to ensure accurate data entry.
  • Update your EOI if needed for future draws.

International Education Stream (Master's/Higher Degree):

• Specific Criteria:
  • Master's Degree or higher required.
  • Must have a qualifying Manitoba Supporter (close relative, Canadian PR/Citizen, 1+ year Manitoba resident).
• Documentation is Mandatory:
  • Proof of Master's/higher degree.
  • Proof of close relative relationship.
  • Proof of Manitoba Supporter's residency.
• Decline if Ineligible: If documentation cannot be provided, consider declining the LAA.
• Manitoba Supporter Requirements:
  • Close relatives: sister/brother, niece/nephew, aunt/uncle, first cousin, mother/father, grandmother/grandfather.
  • Manitoba supporters can support multiple applications.
  • Settlement Plan Part 2 and proof of residency required.
  • If the relationship cannot be proven, decline the LAA.
• No Change in Overall Criteria: This draw reflects specific criteria, not a general change to the International Education Stream.
