Key MPNP Streams

Skilled Workers: The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) Skilled Worker stream is designed to attract and retain individuals with the skills and experience needed to contribute to Manitoba's economy. This stream offers various pathways for skilled workers, both those already working in Manitoba and those abroad, to apply for provincial nomination. Selection factors often include work experience, education, language proficiency, and adaptability. A provincial nomination significantly increases the chances of receiving an invitation to apply for permanent residence from the federal government. The MPNP assesses candidates based on these factors and nominates those most likely to successfully settle and integrate into Manitoba's labor market and communities. Profiles that declared being directly invited by the MPNP under a strategic recruitment initiative.

International Education Stream: The International Education Stream (IES) of the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) provides pathways for international students who have graduated in Manitoba to pursue permanent residency. This stream recognizes the valuable contributions international graduates make to the province and offers opportunities for them to build their future in Manitoba. The IES is designed to retain skilled graduates who have the potential to contribute to Manitoba's economy and integrates them into the province's workforce and communities. Candidates who met the eligibility requirements for the International Education Stream and had at least four years of full-time work experience in the last five years.
